Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival - 2019 Contest Video

Every year, Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity hosts the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, a nine day event in Banff, Canada, celebrating mountain culture, sports and environment through films, photography and books. A selection of films from the festival are then taken on the road and screened around the world as part of the festival's world tour.

Each year the festival's sponsors offer exciting contest prizes for attendees. As an Animation Practicum at the Banff Centre, I had the opportunity to collaborate on the 2019 festival's contest video, which was screened before every film event at the festival and is screening at every stop of the 2019/2020 world tour. We knew the big prizes were trips to Peru and Lake Louise and we wanted the video to be fun and exciting to reflect that.
